Cartes 2004 and sesames Awards – France – Paris

The Cartes is the biggest World Fair Card’s Technology. In 2004, the Smartn was invited to give two lectures. One is the transport area, showing our experience in Electronic Tickets Sales with smart cards in Curitiba´s Collective Transport, with special focus in sales application of on-line credit, which we are have applied to Sesames Awards 2004.

Other lecture was about our product of electronic Consignment, gathering on unique smart card, a lots of functions and services.

Further these lectures, the Smartn will be in the stand of Axalto/Schulumberger, showing its portfolio of products and services.

Event ESI/AI – Invest – Bilbao – Spain

The Smart was present of a business mission to Spain, with focus on the innovations and possibilities of make business through software.

According was pointed by the Board of ESI Center Unisinos (mission’s organization), Juliana Herbert, “Spain is the chosen country by your tradition and focus in the work’s improvement to become better the software, including the technological parks networks and the work done by ESI (European Software Institute)”. The script, that was fulfilled between 1st and 9th October, included a visit to Zamubio’s Technologic Software Institute (ESI), where happened lectures about international cooperation, participation on Business Meeting of program Al-Invest, from European Committee and others.

Joined in meeting 25 Latin-American companies and 75 Europeans and the Smart search developing actions that allow the promotion of business and the technological interchange in this specially area with the European market.

New Technological Fronts

The Smart, in his constant search by development of applications basing on the newest technology, is already going toward to two news markets:

1. GSM: Using the SIM Card (chip) like support other application further the telecommunication.

2. RFID – Smart label: technology like the smart card, allows many applications, since a simple control until total search of products in a supply chain. The Smart, with its expertise in applications with smart cards, is developing in this area with expectations very nice to the next years.
